Quick tips on home objects you’re forgetting to clean

Some objects are easy and obvious to clean, while others we tend to forget or skip over. This causes bacteria and germs to grow without us even noticing. Check out these objects and tips on how to clean them.

1. Kitchen Handles. When cooking you are usually opening drawers, cabinets, and refrigerator, even after handling raw meat. Try cleaning the handles with a mix of 1 part hot water and 1 part vinegar once a week to prevent bacteria from growing.

2. Computer Work Space. Do you know how many times you have coughed or sneezed on or near your computer? Do you know when the last time you cleaned it was? Clean your mouse and keyboard with a toothbrush and soapy water.

3. Handrails. If you have stairs in your home, you are most likely touching the handrail along side it. To prevent germs from spreading, clean with a damp paper towel soaked in hot water and vinegar. Wipe dry and polish if desired.

4. Light Switches. Like and handrails, light switches are touched everyday. Use the same cleaning method with hot water and vinegar. \
