Tips to get Your Home Ready for Spring!
Finally it’s almost spring time! Unfortunately, during the winter your home may have experienced harsh weather, leaving dead flowers or damaged shingles. The thought of fixing all of this seems dreadful. Thankfully HGTV provided a quick and easy checklist that will help your home prepare for the spring and summer.
Here are a few tasks HGTV thinks is the best to do:
1. Examine your roof shingles – check to see if any shingles were damaged or lost. Any shingle is cracked or buckled need to be replaced.
2. Check the gutters – make sure they do not leak and are not clogged. If gutters do not drain right, it can cause water in the basement.
3. Check your outdoor power equipment – clean and sharpen any blades to make summer work easier.
